Bro. Joshua Perez and Bro. Victor Argumosa will be preaching in the Sunday night service on March 7, 2010. Both of these men surrendered to preach on February 21, 2010. Pray for these men as they stand and preach for the first time. I am excited that God has called these men, and I am looking forward to seeing God use them.

Thank the Lord for a young man that was saved yesterday morning(1-31-2010) in the services.

Jan. 19, 2009- We had a tremendous day with Bro. Andy Simpson preaching. The Lord moved in our hearts. We have our sound equipment hooked up and hope to make CD's available. If anyone is interested please contact us for more information.

God has been blessing in our services with new visitors lately and with souls being saved. Please continue to pray for the work and to pray for revival. Bro. Andy Simpson will be with us this coming Sunday morning and Sunday evening (January 17).

Our house did sell and we closed on it Wed. Thank you for each one that has helped us to pray for that to go through. Pray for the services tomorrow. We also want to thank each one that sent gifts to the family this Christmas, it was an encouragement and blessing. Thank you.

Praise the Lord for two souls saved yesterday in the AM service. One a first time Lutheran lady visiting and the other it was his second visit to the church. Our house is scheduled to close on Wed. please help us pray for this to go through and that God would be glorified through it.

Dec. 18, 2009 update

We have seen three souls saved since our last update. A young man that is going to the university down the street and has been coming for a couple of months was saved a week ago Sun am. This past Wed. we had a man from Charleston SC visiting out here. He was raised in a Baptist church back east but got away from church when he left home. While in Utah the Lord began to deal with him and put him under conviction. He called the church and met with me before services. He was broken to the point of weeping and even throwing up. He crawled in the floor and begged God to forgive him and save him. AMEN. The LOrd has also opened the door for me to go into the Utah state prison at Draper. This Wed we saw a man born again. After preaching he came forward during the invitation and said he was lost and wanted to be saved.

We are expecting the paperwork for ous house to close today. We have had trouble getting packages delivered to us here. If all goes well we should have closed on our house by Wed. Dec. 22.

We had a 12 year old boy saved yesterday(11-15) Praise the Lord.

We received a offer on our house today (11-3)and countered their offer. We heard they were going to accept our counter offer, but won't know for sure untill the contract is signed and sent to our agent. Please help us pray for this sale to go through. It would take a huge burden off of us.

The meeting at the Kiwanis club went well on Mon. Thank you to those who prayed.

We had a good Lords day yesterday. Pray for me today, I am getting ready to "speak" at the Kiwanis Club here in Orem. Pray the Lord would use me to glorify Him.
We had our Fall International Dinner yesterday (Sun 10-11-09). The Lord blessed in the service with 32 showing up. Our neighbors came for the first time. He spoke to me during the dinner and siad that several people had talked to him at gas stations, etc. "trying to get him saved". He said "I've always thought that I was allright but the scariest thing is the not knowing for sure." I preached on "Unprepared for the greatest trial of your life". I told him we could take the Bible and get it settled, but about this time something happened and he got distracted and that was the end of that conversation then. I spoke to him as he was leaving and told him he could come over and we can talk about it and he agreed. Please pray for Tom that the Lord would continue to work on his heart. He has been offended by a pastor in the past and has been bitter toward church. The Lord has used our children to befriend his two youngest boys and opened the door for us to show him something real.

Brethren our hearts desire and prayer to God for Orem, Utah is, that they might be saved.

Saturday Sept. Faith Baptist Church from Layton brought some of their youth group down and we were able to place aprx. 3500 church brochures/tracts on doors here in Orem. We have already had one lady come by the church to learn more this week. Please help us to pray for fruit for the glory of God.

Tom. Augaust 21, 2009 we will celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. The Lord has blessed me with the most incredible woman. I love you Sherri. We made it to Utah on Fri. July 17. We just got our internet hooked up today and will be posting more news and sending a prayer letter to MWBM to print and send out. Thank you for your prayers. The Brooks

We found out on Thursday (Feb. 5) that we lost the baby. On Friday January 30, we had a regular Dr. visit and everything was going well. We were even able to see the heartbeat.On Wed. Sherri began having some complications and we saw the Dr. on Thur. The ultrasound showed that the baby had not grown since the measurements on Fri. when we saw the heartbeat. We are saddened, but we rejoice that we will meet our child one day. We decided to name the baby Gideon. Thur. on the way home and preparing for the revival services on Thur. night God was working in my heart in a special way.I preached that night on "Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires" Isaiah 24:15. That night God used what had happened in our life to so stir my heart toward Him and moved in the service that night and somewhere between 10-15 souls were saved, and many people in the altar doing business with God. We felt that God used our baby in a way to bring glory to Himself, and so we named him Gideon. "...I am the least in my fathers house." Judges 6:15 Gideon was the least in his fathers house, but God used him to bring a mighty victory.

This is Samnatha that the Lord allowed me to witness to and pray with while we were in Utah. The sign behind us is the sign for the Salt Lake Temple entrance.  Please pray for Samantha.

 This is a picture taken by my daughter at a Target parking lot. Michael S. had just come off a crack cocaine binge and was sober, and realized he was in trouble. The Lord helped me to take the Bible and share the Gospel with him for nearly 30 minutes. Michael admitted he needed to be saved and that if he died he would surely be in hell, but he just couldn't bring himself to ask for forgiveness. He would say "I'm a pretty good fellow most of the time." Please help us pray that the seed sown would bring forth fruit before it is too late for Michael. With a broken heart I watched Michael walk away with tears streaming down his face as he thanked me for taking time for him. Michael is no different from multitudes all around us, needing someone to tell them about Jesus. Although we can't save them, we must tell them. Please pray for us as we desire to share the truth about Jesus with the hundreds of thousands in Utah.

We believe that God hears and answers prayer. There is no doubt
about it, the greatest untapped resource in the Christian life is the matter of prayer. Pray each day. Pray for loved ones. Pray for church leaders and their families. Pray for your our family. Pray for the state of Utah. Pray for our nation. Pray for the lost. Establish a prayer list. Pray.
